Today at Proud City

As the National Centre for active citizenship, Proud City is rolling out Active Citizenship (iPAC), with our partners at City & Guilds. Sowing the seeds in nine regions of England to bring together 9 diverse partner organisations to accelerate caring, learning and continuous improvement to build the portfolio of different case studies for our network of associate centres and partners.

Our team is developing an active citizenship outreach programme with corporate partners and clients, to enable active citizenship in areas where there is little or no funding support and in employee catchment areas as part of corporate social responsibility. This extends to employee engagement in communities and helping locate relevant opportunities for this.

Acivte citizenship group in Chimmney Pot Park Proud City is working to achieve greater involvement by younger people in communties by campaigning for their right to have a say and be part of making decisions about services and events that are designed for young people.

Proud City is developing the pre-retirement innovation package that genuinely prepares employees for their future, especially for those where work is their life, because we believe in a meaningful life for all.
