candidate feedback

Here is some useful feedback written by a 2009 group of Health Trainers working towards the City and Guilds Level 3, when asked what improvements they would like to see with the course and what they were enjoying, this is what our candidates said:

"To have received this training at the start of my employment as a Health Trainer"

"Could do with being part of the first months training as Health Trainers"

"The course gives me confidence to ask when I am unsure about things"

" I am now realising the consequences of not updating information"

"Made me see why it is necessary to keep an up to date diary"

"The group work was important, lively, professional and well focused"

"I would be interested to check out how Health Trainers in other areas deliver their services"

"The group work is something I particularly like - it gets the brain working nicely"

"Enjoyed looking at how to recognise barriers and how to overcome resistance"

" It has been useful to discuss information as a whole team - that helps improve experiences"

The general feel is that our course content equips the Health Trainer to do their job better

Proud City has developed APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning) resources that recognise the candidates previous experiences,  This helps reduce unnecessary repetitive sessions in the class room where the candidate has already achieved prior competence.  This service is suitable for accrediting a single unit or a full certificate, according to individual skills.
